In addition to normal music and singing lessons, AIMMS School of Rock offers specialised short courses covering topics relevant to the music industry to help you reach your personal and professional goals.

Teaching all aspects of PUBLIC SPEAKING based on Pembo’s 27 years working in Radio, Television and in front of live (and sometimes dead!) audiences.

The course will deal with everyone’s main fear of public speaking and that is THE FEAR OF PUBLIC SPEAKING, learning to control nervousness through breathing and diction excersises.

	Preparing a speech to the point where it doesn’t look prepared.
	Developing positive body language in front of an audience (physical presentation is usually more important than verbal).
	Writing and structuring the speech.
	How to go about rehearsing.

Each student will learn how to stand up in front of an audience and deliver a 3 to 5 minute speech.

Who’s it for?

• people who avoid public speaking (and most do!)
• people who find it embarrassing and/or terrifying to do so.
• people who need to speak in public as part of their education or job but don’t enjoy it
• anyone who wants to develop skills that will increase their job opportunities and improve self confidence.

The lessons will slowly build knowledge, experience and develop a lack of fear. At the end the students will wonder what the fear and fuss was all about.

$45.00 per half hour
$85.00 per hour
